So to cool off while being inside, and the fan on full blast, I thought it was worth mentioning this enjoyable Spelunker like platformer, called The Catacombs of Cherubim by natthrafn for the Commodore 64. A game which has got decent feedback such as, "Thanks, its really good fun!" and "Thank you so much for the game. Very addictive. I love it!". Doom8088 - A rather impressive episode 1 port of Doom for Atari ST computers!

Doom wasn't released on the Atari ST/STE , nor was it released on any other system of that time. Doom was just way beyond in computer development. But now thanks to FrenkelS, who was behind this release, you can now the play the Atari ST Edition! A port for Atari ST computers which is based on Doom8088, a port of Doom for 16-bit DOS computers. To coincide with this news, Saberman was kind enough to show off some footage from an Atari ST/STE.

There's nothing more satisfying than writing about the latest games, but when it comes to my chunky handheld the Gameboy or the GameBoy Advanced, it's feeling a little left out. Sure we've had games that are designed in a Gameboy style, but actual fresh cartridges is something of a rarity. So here's one game that looks to be worth downloading or pre-ordering if you want a physical edition, is CASTLE of TERROR by PCNONOGames. At first I couldn't understand why we had such an influx of Amiga game news in one weekend. Well it dawned on me, that on the 31st of May it was International Amiga Day! A day which is celebrated annually on May 31st to honor Jay Miner, who is considered the father of the Amiga computer. Robot Jet Action 2 - C64portal's upcoming Commodore Amiga game looks super awesome (+Demo)

We've been just been informed via Earok, who is behind the excellent Scorpion Engine. That Carrion(c64portal) has released a demo for the upcoming Commodore Amiga game of 'Robot Jet Action 2'. A game that was not only released for the Commodore 64 back in 2022, but it featured lots of challenging levels, different themed worlds and so much more which made it rather entertaining! While we still don't know when the game will be released, the creator has announced along side Saberman's video, that the upcoming full version will feature more than 4 unique worlds!

Batty - A great PC remake of a classic game released by Elite Software in 1987!

Ready your paddles retro gamers, as a new game is now available to download and play on your PC by Space Time Games via itch io. This latest release called Batty, is a brand new remake of a classic that was released by Elite Software in 1987. A remake which features many levels from both the C64 and ZX Spectrum. Unofficial SNK vs CAPCOM for the C64/128 gets a pretty impressive update! [Stronger Edition]

There's another awesome news story that's worth a mention here on Indie Retro News, as thanks to both Ethan Knight and Saberman letting us know through Facebook, we've been told that Jon Eggelton and Gianluca Alberico has released a pretty impressive update to their 2023 Commodore 64 and Commodore 128 unofficial hit of 'SNK vs CAPCOM'; a C64 game which was developed using their in development fighting engine known as RetroFighter. The Pyramid - Tough as nails platformer for the ZX Spectrum by amikoES

The Sunday retro gaming news just keeps on coming, as after already featuring games such as Baby-Man VS Terminatots PT1 for the ZX Spectrum, and Sabre Wulf Remastered for the C64. Here we have a new game for the ZX Spectrum by AmikoES called 'The Pyramid'. A challenging platformer in which the developer describes it as a bit like Abu Simbel Profanation. Baby-Man VS Terminatots PT1 - A new puzzle platformer for the ZX Spectrum by PuttyCAD

We've just been given the heads up through our Facebook group and via Saberman, that PuttyCAD has released another ZX Spectrum game for you to play. Titled as Baby-Man VS Terminatots PT1, you play as The Prof, and your task is to create an army of Terminatots to send back through time to take on Baby-Man whist stops him from defeating Man-Baby the evil toddler ( huh? ). Sabre Wulf - Is still getting a C64 remaster, and it looks awesome!

Earlier today we found out that ' Sabre Wulf ' is still coming to the C64 as a full remaster by Genesis Project. Yes indeed this famous game released in 1984 by Ultimate Play the Game, and originally released on the ZX Spectrum, BBC Micro, C64 and Amstrad CPC, will soon be making its home yet again on the C64 but this time with incredible remastered graphics such as in game and a fancy loader.
